Bearmach are running their Land Rover spares business on Sculptor databases. They needed online access to the live parts catalogue and for stock levels and ordering to be completed in realtime. Using Django we were able to complete this for them and their customers can now place orders online in minutes rather than the old system which took close to half an hour of a sales persons time to complete. This has meant the sales force are able to spend more time making new contacts.
Having recently purchased the 'Nick Baldwin' collection of motor transport documents the British Motor Industries Heritage Trust needed to provide access to the catalogued information and any scanned images via the internet. The archive data management system was designed and implemented by us and access to the catalogue has been provided using PHP and Postgres.
